Our Priest shots featured in official trailer!

Priest is set to hit the silver screen in "REALD 3D" early 2011. The Base Studio conducted high complexity matchmoves, 3D animation and rotopaint. Not only did two of our VFX shots end up on the initial internet trailer, but another shot was showcased on IMDB.com with the official production photos! Priest wont be in theaters for another 5-7 months, but we're glad some of our shots hit the trailer and press release!

State Farm "national pastime" tracking + layout

When the State Farm "national pastime" commercial required a highly complicated track that had no camera or lens information and a dangerously peculiar zoom, State Farm / Arsenal FX called on The Base Studio to create a picture perfect Matchmove. We created pixel perfect geometry based on set measurements from Angel Stadium and integrated that data with our advanced motion tracking to fuel the crowd replication scene done in Massive Software.

One of our latest spots is a net commercial for the GPS social media application; Foursquare. With a production shoot that lasted a total of two hours, combined with an edit turn around time of four days, Foursquare trusted The Base Studio in making their first trendy viral marketing video.
